Another Tuesday painting with our plein air group PAINT NC. This week we were invited to Jean's in Wake Forest to paint en plein air or still lifes if we chose or if the rainy weather chased us inside. It was hot and humid but the garage offered shade and fans. I had a hand stretched jute canvas I was anxious to try out. I thought it lended itself to a still life. Trying to remember what I learned at a composition workshop a few months ago, I tackled one of the still lifes. I like the results...don't you?
Thanks Jean, for having us.
