Just in from two receptions celebrating the artists of Cary, NC.  ART55 is a show of 55 works of artists over 55 at the Cary Senior Center. I won first place! As delighted as I am with my favorite color ribbon, I am honored to be in such wonderful company. 

The Spring show at Jordan Hall is a delight in wonderful bright colors we only experience this lovely season of the year.  Congratulations to the accomplished artists who exhibited and won the people's choice awards.  These receptions are great times to catch up with fellow artists that have been hibernating in their studios.  Great to see all.

Tomorrow, Spectrum Art and Jewelry will hold a benefit for one of their gallery artist who has had a reoccurence of ovarian cancer.  Anne Boysen is an extremely talented artist whose life and work is a display of exuberance.
