Painted at Sarah P. Duke Gardens yesterday.  The waterlilies were glorious and in full bloom.  There are so many varieties and the colors are unimaginable.  Overheard a tour guide telling a group of students that the lilies are currently in a international contest.  Tried to capture some of beauty in the shade of the bamboo.  Duke Gardens is a peaceful place to spend a summer morning on the Duke University campus in Durham, NC.
